A Women’s Bible Study using “The Chosen” season 1 as a springboard for reflection and discussion began on Wednesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. and will continue until June 7.  Each week we will reflect on and discuss two episodes.  You can watch episodes prior to the Bible Study at new.thechosen.tv.  The study is facilitated by Laura Simoneau and Karen Sheffer and will meet in the church area. All welcome!

Fishing Trip

We would like to know how many people are interested in   an ocean fishing trip.  We would need at least six people to charter a boat and there are several different options available.  Please look for a sign up sheet expressing interest on the Information and Opportunities Table.

New Series: The Personality of Jesus
Jesus was fun. I’m sure of it! Because children loved to be around Him—and children don’t gravitate to
cold, crabby people! Plus, people loved to invite Jesus to their home for dinner. And who wants to have
dinner with a sour, bitter person? Jesus was positive. I know that for a fact! Because
no one goes out of their way to spend time with someone who discourages them, tears them down, or
crushes their dreams. Yet people flocked to Jesus, wanting to be close to Him.
Join us in the weeks ahead as we meet the real Jesus.
And maybe —just maybe — we can become more like Him!

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Most people know we are a year round  drop spot for our local food pantry.  This Thanksgiving we would like to have everyone make a special effort to support them by bringing a canned good or non-perishable item between Sunday, November 20 and Sunday, November 27.  We hope to have overflowing donation bins ready to deliver to the Southwick Community Food Pantry as they continue to provide for our neighbors in need this holiday season.
